I believe that as a society we should not squander resources and trash the environment for future people. We must strive to live in a way that allows future generations to live sustainable, prospersous, and healthy lives.
I believe that people have the right to affordable housing. The old ways of urban sprawl will not serve cities in the future. We need to build dynamic, vibrant, walkable communties on a human scale.
Thank you to the many citizens who answered my request for letters about the Natural Environment. These letters contained thoughtful insights into the feelings of the community regarding this important asset. Attracting economic development and investment is part of ensuring our future economic sustainability. Being able to bring a specialized high tech operation to a small town is a big opportunity.
I believe that Pinawa is in an amazing position to transition into a more sustainable, greener, and prosperous town, a town that is a leader, ahead of the pack. We can begin to do this work RIGHT NOW.
